Continuous Shrubs

The tortoises inhabit roughly 150 acres of land, but all the terrain is being plagued by shrubs.  Large, shaded areas cause the umbra temperature to drop, resulting in uninhabitable conditions and ultimately forcing tortoises to find shelter elsewhere. On their own, the tortoises cannot combat the growing shrubs. Therefore, when the shrubs provide too much shade, the tortoises struggle to flourish.
